Inward Swinging Door

 Our doors are designed to swing inward for enhanced safety. There have been unfortunate instances where individuals survived severe storms, only to find themselves trapped inside due to debris blocking outward-swinging doors. By ensuring our doors open inwards, we prioritize your safety and provide peace of mind.

 Narrower Panels means more strength. Our narrow, 16″ plate steel panels create an incredibly strong safe room. Where each 3/16″ panel is bolted together creates a 3/8″ steel I-beam ribcage for unmatched strength. Safe rooms with 20″ to 24″ spacing are not as strong or as safe. 

 We use an extensive number of bolts to ensure our storm shelters and safe rooms are the strongest. By spacing our bolts just 8 inches apart, we provide unparalleled reinforcement. This attention to detail is crucial because we understand the immense forces generated by a large tornado. Your safety is our mission.

 All our wall panels are constructed with 3/16″ plate steel.  This was tested at the National Wind Institute at Texas Tech University.  There they use a cannon to fire debris that is similar to what happens during an EF5 tornado.  Our shelters / safe rooms exceeded the standards.
